Some updates

Just some updates:

My ear over the weekend does not feel stuffed, so I’m hoping it’s cleared up. To make sure though I’m going to leave it for a few days before I put my right hearing aid back in.

This morning I went out to buy the necessary things for when I buy my Syrian Hamster. The cage was set up by dinner ready, and I went to my local pet shop in the afternoon, for my hamster. I decided I was having a female by then. (Could not make my mind up this morning). I will show a picture of her soon here on my blog. I’ve called her Bubbles.

I picked up my parcel at the Post Office this morning, and I was sooo excited when I knew where it was from! My t-shirt and tank top from Speak Up Librarian Shop has arrived. Yipee! I will post photos here as promised later, modelling them.

This blog is early days as I’ve just started it up today. But I hope you enjoy as I continue to blog there as well as here.

Willowbrook Medical Practice

For those of you that live local in Sutton-in-Ashfield, if your doctors is at Willowbrook Medical Practice. Did you know you can now make appointments online? I discovered that myself not long ago, but only just decided today to enquire about this, and now I’m registered so I can book my appointment with the doctors this way.

Idea for anyone, but if your HOH or deaf, than it’s brilliant news for us that this is available. So if you’re interested booking your future appointments this way, then enquire at the reception desk when you next visit.

Christmas

Yes I’m early, but I’m making up for last year when I wasn’t quiet into Christmas, because of where I used to live at the time. So I have put my Christmas tree up today and some other decorations.

I took the picture with my camera. A bit grainy looking this time then usual, but you can see what it looks like.

Have you done your Christmas shopping?

I’ve been and done some today, but realised I was a couple of presents short. So will be out again tomorrow, while I do a small food shop.

I’m very surprised there wasn’t more brits out there, willing to have a go. But then maybe you were stumped as I was.

Thanks Sarah for commenting on previous post and having a go.

Hope you found it fun anyway. Bye for now.

Just4Fun

Here’s a puzzle for you, just for fun. My boyfriend gave me this one to share with you. You will probably get the puzzle. But I’ll give you the answer for it next Thursday or Friday.

4 shop’s made out of match sticks.

These shops need to be turned into one well-known supermarket, by moving just 1 matchstick.

05112009014Have fun guessing. Leave your answers here. I must say I did not get it myself.

Bye for now x

What’s your fear?

What’s your fear. Mines dentist. Been there today for a check-up and everything was fine. So that’s it till another 6 months. I’m usually calm when it comes to a check up, but because I was seeing a different dentist I was nervous again. But it turned out when I seen him, he was better than my usual dentist.

My other phobias are:

  • escalators (but I’m working on this one).
  • big spiders (make me shiver)
  • bees and wasps (try to avoid. I don’t run now, I freeze or walk away hoping it’s still not following me)
  • flying (never done it and don’t plan to)
  • snakes

I may be nervous going on the sea, but not sure about that one. I’m ok on a canal boat.

And that’s my phobias. What’s yours?
