My name is Elizabeth, but I don’t mind being called Liz, and I’m hard of hearing. (Although I’m starting say I’m deaf instead just lately).

I live in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England, and I wear behind the ear hearing aids, which I first started wearing back in about Autumn 2002.

I love animals and wildlife of most sorts, I like photography which is just amateur level, and have a passion for making hand made cards.

I hope by writing my blog that I help others who may be hard of hearing like me, to know that your not alone in feelings or issues you may have about your deafness, and also that hearing people who may also visit my blog and take the time to read it, come away a bit more deaf aware with what problems or issues I may come across, but to remember also what I may experience as a hard of hearing person, to remember that the next person who’s hard of hearing or deaf, their experiences could be different to mine, as we all have different needs depending on our deafness.
